Located just 10 minutes north of Boulder, Niwot is a sleepy old-fashioned community. With miles of white picket fences and a population of only 4000, this neighborhood boasts great mountain views, homes with large lots and one of the Boulder area's best fine restaurants - La Chantecler.
Niwot Inn located downtown
Niwot's historic downtown is locally recognized as one of the area's best places for antique shopping. Stroll Main Street and visit antique stores and small shops, a gourmet market, a great coffee shop and fine restaurants for dining. Downtown Niwot - Treppeda's
Niwot is located next to the campuses of many of Boulder's biggest employers, including IBM, Celestial Seasonings and Qualcomm. Also located nearby is the Haystack Golf Course, which has a relaxed golfing atmosphere.
The single family homes in Niwot have sold in a price range from $192k to $1.7 million in the past year in a half. Niwot real estate prices are higher than average due to it's 10 minute commuting distance to Boulder.
Niwot is an unincorporated town where most government control happens from Boulder.
