How to upload photos:
Uploading Rules:
1. Image files must be 2MB or smaller to be uploaded (most current 3.2M pixel cameras generate a 1.5MB JPG picture
at it's high resolution setting).
2. Image files must be JPG or GIF format.
(most digital cameras output a JPG image)
For BEST quality photo results and FASTER uploads:
If you used a newer digital camera or a scanner your photo file size is probably over our 100KB size limit. It also probably over our 460(w) x 260(h) pixel limit. We recommend reducing the file size yourself instead of letting our system do it for you - that way you have optimum control over how your image looks. If your photos are over our file size and pixel limit our system will automatically reduce your photo to fit within our pixel limits and the file size compressed.
1. Open a photo editor such as PhotoShop or Fireworks, or if you don't have one
of these expensive and somewhat complicated programs download this free
and easy to use program to edit your images.
2. Reduce the image size and/or
crop your image to have a maximum width of 460 pixels and a maximum height
of 260 pixels. It is OK if your image
is something line 380 pixels wide and 260 pixels tall, or 460 pixels wide
and 180 pixels tall.
3. Compress your image around
25% (for the 3.2M pixel digital cameras), this should give
you a high quality photo that looks close to the original and is less
than
100KB in file
size.
4. Click on the Photo 1 "Browse" button
on the previous page,
5. Locate your first photo on your computer,
6. Repeat step 2 for your remaining photos,
7. Click on the "Upload Photo(s)" button
(click just once),
8. Wait while your photos upload to our system.
FAQ:
Some of my pictures where taken vertically, does your system rotate them?
No, our system will not rotate them, you will need to supply photos taken horizontally.
